Lifeline 13 11 14

Lifeline supports the community and people experiencing difficulty through accessible crisis support, counselling, education, community capacity building and referral services. They offer 24/7 crisis support.

Kids Helpline 1800 551 800 

Kids Helpline is a free confidential 24/7 online and phone counselling service for young people aged 5 to 25. Giving young people Risk Managment strategies on a variety of topics including bullying and anxiety.

Beyond Blue provides information and support to help everyone in Australia achieve their best possible mental health, whatever their age and wherever they live. On the phone number below you can get free, confidential telephone counselling (local call costs apply). Most calls last around 20 minutes.

MensLine Australia offers free professional phone and online counselling to men across Australia 24 hours a day. Their experienced counsellors are there to listen and provide support for a range of issues including anxiety, depression, divorce, grief and suicide prevention.

1800RESPECT is the national domestic, family and sexual violence counselling, information and support service. They offer support for people experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, domestic, family and sexual violence and to People supproting someone experiencing or at risk of experiencing, domestic, family and sexual violence.

Gambler's Help 1800 858 858 

Gambler's Helpline is a free and confidential 24/7 helpline. The offer support and advise for anyone affected by gambling whether it be yourself or someone close to you and will help refer you onto local services and send you free information on how to get help.

Direct Line 1800 888 236

Direct Line is a confidential alcohol and drug support service with counselling and referals. Their over the phone counselling service will offer you on the spot information on whatever you need including a peer support finder, service finder and links to a self assessment.

Suicide Call Back 1300 659 467

The Suicide Call Back Service is a 24 hour, nationwide service that provides free telephone, video and online counselling. Their professionally trained counsellors have specialist skills in working with suicide-related issues and they can help you to work through the pain and distress you may be feeling. The service offers up to four additional phone counselling sessions and these sessions are called ‘call backs’.
